After recent road trips we are playing two games in a row at home. Firstly, we are hosting PINKK Pécsi 424 in Novomatic Aréna from 6 pm on Saturday.
Our lower-tier opponents couldn't get much done since the beginning of the season. They have played eight games, and lost all of them, so they are in the last spot of the table. Last time out they were beaten 87-66 by newly promoted side Szigetszentmiklós.
Our team fought a tough battle in Istanbul, where they couldn't erase the deficit they had collected in the middle of the game, even though they summoned huge amounts of energy to do it. We had composure, but all in all, we couldn't deliver the quality of defense which is characteristic of us. It also had its mark on our offense.
We can already correct our mistakes against PINKK, where getting the win is a must, but many times these games are the most difficult. Let's see what Briann January expects from the game.
Tickets to the game can be purchased at the venue for 1500 HUF. According to the regulation in effect, entry to the game is only permitted for those in possession of an EU or Hungarian vaccination card, and those under the age of 18 may enter along with a grown-up who has a vaccination card.
The home team built up a seventeen-point advantage in the first half, which we completely erased in the third quarter, and won the game in the fourth in a huge battle!
