Ancient battle for the league final

Our team will match up against ALUINVENT-DVTK in the league for the 80th time. The league semi-final series is a best-of-three matchup.

The Sopron-Di�sgy�r competition embodies one of the oldest rivalries in the Hungarian league. Considering all competitions spiced with many memorable moments the sides faced each other 96 times so far. We celebrated victory on 66 occasions along with our loyal fan base, while after the final buzzer in 30 games the red and whites and their fanatic supporters burst out in victory dancing.

We took on Attil F�ldi's well-put-together team three times this season, and they never gave up easily. The runners-up of the cup have played only one game in the first round of the playoffs, since their opponents, PEAC-P�cs were forced to missed Game 1 in the shadows of coronavirus, and the second was won by D�ra Medgyessy and co. with an outstanding showing in the last three minutes.

They will surely be less fatigued than we are, but we are going into the semi-final series in pace, and the power rankings are also in our favor. We can expect an interesting duel, at the end of which we hope to get into our next battle for gold medal, and of course, before that, into the FINAL4 in Turkey.
