Early evening derby

We are hosting one of our immediate rivals, Atomer�m�-KSC Szeksz�rd in Novomatic Ar�na from 7.30 pm on Wednesday, and the game will be broadcast live on M4 Sport.

The game should have originally taken place in October, but coronavirus intervened back then. Since then both sides managed to play most of their rescheduled games, but regarding the number of games played our guests are still a little bit ahead of us: they have played 15 games so far, out of which they came away with the victory 13 times. Szeksz�rd, who have made their roster a lot stronger, and deeper have suffered two losses in the league so far, both times against our local rivals Gy�r. One of them during the holidays, which was followed by a tight game against Csata. We shouldn't draw conclusions from these games, though, because every game is different, and we can be sure they will arrive at Wednesday's derby red hot and focused.

Everything is going well at our club, who are leading the league with an unbeaten record of 13 wins. We have rebuilt ourselves after the coronavirus period in October, and posed a big threat to our opponents on defense in the international games in December as well. The professionals might have been impressed by our performance especially watching us stop Galatasaray's effective offensive force. We are advancing along these lines, and to our great pleasure, our national team member center Betti Hat�r is also eligible to play again after missing three months.

Before the game we asked Gabby Williams, who was finally able to play on Sunday after suffering a minor leg injury against Galatasaray.
