However, Süle continued to score for the home team: She came up with a triple this time (3rd minute 5-7). Jeca and Angela kept scoring, to which only Suppán could react at the other end. Halfway through the first period we were ahead by 6 points (5th minute 9-15). The next few minutes showed a scoring battle between Virág and Barnai, which was won by our talented youngster 5-6 giving us a 7-point lead. After the exchange of baskets between Süle and Tina the difference has reached double digits (9th minute 16-26). After the team-talks the first basket was made by Angela off of the 3rd assist by Yvonne. In the next offensive possession Angela returned the favor and gave an assist to Yvonne for her first points in the game, which meant that we were on a 19-0 scoring run. Angyal made a shot for the first time in the second quarter for the home team after an almost two-minute scoring drought ending our run (17th minute 20-45). Roberto Iniguez: It wasn't an easy game despite the big margin, since we were playing in Kursk Thursday night, and we have a long road behind ourselves. I asked the girls to focus and respect the opponent, and I think they have fulfilled that wish of mine, like the scoreboard shows.
