Game 1 of the league finals hasn't brought much excitement, but we can be sure that from 6.30 pm on Monday we will play in infernal heat in Miskolc.
The start of the finals concluded as expected, although the level of the game was below both sides' talent. It is a fact that we are in the endgame of the championship, where freshness is not a characteristic of the teams, but even considering that the teams have played with less agility. We could have thought that the away side hasn't yet realized that they were in the finals, where they would need bigger intensity, while on our side the must-win feeling got into the heads because of the unbeaten record. For sure both sides will try to change that until Monday evening, when a new game begins. We know that in Miskolc there is a fanatic supporting base pushing their team forward, but we have proved many times this season that we don't panic when we are away from home. In fact, we might have been stronger on the road.
Before the game we asked Yvonne Turner about her expectations for the upcoming game.
The game that will be broadcast live by M4 Sport begins at 6.30 pm in Miskolc at Generali Aréna.
